Christmas in Connecticut

So Christmas has come and gone and I hope everyone had a great holiday. Jeremy and I were unable to travel home, so we had our own little Christmas in Connecticut (No, I haven’t watched the movie, but I did DVR it). There were tears (from my eyes) on Christmas Eve since I was missing out on spending time with my family, but we made the best of Christmas with just the two of us.

We spent the weekend before Christmas in New York because my best friend, Rene was coming out. Little did she know her boyfriend was planning on purposing to her on The Top of the Rock. Both of their families came out and I lied to her saying we were late. She was totally confused when she spotted her mom, but Doug did a great job and now they are engaged!

Cutest couple of 2007!!! We bought matching hats

Now that I have seen the New York shop windows and the Rockefeller tree, I never need to be in New York before Christmas again. It was so crowded! Even with the crowds, we had a great time with Rene and Doug and their family!!

So here are more pictures from our holiday. Enjoy!

This was our lovely Christmas Eve dinner (before the tears)
